Parallel to Hildibrand Manderville’s misadventures while the Inspector of Light tackles cases around Etheirys with a gentlemanly flair, there is another crimefighter who works in the shadows away from the limelight…

Meet Sora Holmes, the Lady of Darkness—along with her trusty assistant, Yiune Watson, they travel around the Star to solve mysteries too dark and disturbing for the authorities to handle.

Sora Holmes Case Files is a project inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes series, and set in the world of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIV. This series aims to expand upon some of the dark and mature themes introduced in the canon story that weren’t further developed for unknown reasons, while recreating the classic mystery vibe of Doyle’s most famous detective in a fantasy setting.
